Biography: Captain Alex Badeh Jr. is a distinguished aviation professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. With over 6000 flight hours as both Captain and First Officer, he brings a depth of knowledge and leadership to his role as Director General of the Bureau of Aviation Safety and Regulation.

Credentials: Captain Badeh attended the University of Wolverhampton, England, where he obtained a degree in Biological Sciences, laying the foundation for his esteemed career in aviation. He has held prominent positions with reputable airlines such as American Airlines, American Eagle, Arik Air, and Aero Contractors Nigeria Ltd., piloting a variety of aircraft including Boeing 737s, Airbus A330s, Airbus A320s, and Bombardier CRJ 200/700/900s.

Accomplishments: Throughout his career, Captain Badeh has been recognized for his commitment to safety and mentorship. He has received prestigious accolades such as the Minister’s Commendation for Safety from the Nigerian Minister of Aviation and the Pilot Mentor Award from Aero Contractors Nigeria Ltd.
