Accident Investigation Bureau, Nigeria (AIB) was notified of the accident by Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) by phone call at 23:11 h, on 26th January, 2022. Investigators arrived the accident site on 27th January, 2022. Post occurrence assessment commenced immediately under the provisions of Civil Aviation (Investigation of Air
Accidents and Incidents) Regulations 2019 and ICAO Annex 13.
